Page Tree Archive
Save a page and the pages it links to as clean, offline text you can read later.
What it does
Open any page, click the toolbar button, and pick how much to keep: this page, every page it links to, only links that leave the site, or the whole site up to three hops deep.
- Pages are reduced to article text with Mozilla Readability, so headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, quotes, code and links survive while images, ads, scripts and trackers are dropped.
- Linked pages are fetched with your own browser session, so signed-in pages save as you see them.
- Read saved copies inside the extension, jump between saved pages, open one in a tab for reader mode, or export the whole tree as a ZIP of plain HTML.
- Everything is stored locally. Nothing is uploaded.
Install
Desktop Chrome or Edge: open chrome://extensions or edge://extensions, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and pick the unzipped page-tree-archive folder.
