# Privacy Policy - Page Tree Archive

Page Tree Archive is a browser extension published by AI Northstar Tech. It saves a page and the pages it links to as offline, readable copies that stay on your device.

## What the extension does with your data

- The extension reads the page you explicitly ask it to archive, plus the pages linked from it that fall inside the scope you chose.
- Saved copies are written to local browser storage inside your own profile. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- The extension has no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, no accounts, and no remote configuration. It contains no remote code, and it loads no scripts, fonts or styles from the network at runtime.

## Network requests

The only network requests the extension makes are the page fetches that are part of an archive you started, using your own browser session so that pages you can already see are saved as you see them. Requests stop when the archive finishes or when you stop it.

## Data collection and sharing

We do not collect, store on a server, transmit, sell, or share any user data. No personal information, health information, financial information, authentication information, personal communications, location, web history, user activity, or website content is sent to us.

## Data retention and removal

Archives live entirely in your browser profile. Removing an archive in the extension's Library deletes it. Uninstalling the extension removes its stored data with the rest of its profile data.

## Permissions

- **tabs**: opens the archiver page and identifies the tab you chose to archive.
- **scripting**: reads the live text of the page you chose, so pages rendered by JavaScript are not saved empty.
- **contextMenus**: adds the "Archive page tree" right-click action.
- **unlimitedStorage**: lets saved sites exceed the default extension storage quota.
- **Host permission (all sites)**: the pages you choose to archive, and the pages they link to, can be on any site.
